I believe that the president, not the acting president, was the one who needed to sign the legislation. He appeared to be running away from his obligations. He ought to have signed it either before he departed or upon his return. He should be the one to sign all of the bills; the acting president should not be in charge of that.Â
The President has the right to refuse to sign if it conflicts with his moral principles, but if this were the case, he should have resigned instead of allowing someone else to act on his behalf! Another instance of cowardice and greed!
What an example for our youth, Mr. President, of how to run away from responsibilities and their duties.

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, it is absolutely shameless to hold power just when it is convenient for you while using tax payer money to travel overseas.
